The idea for these glass sculptures came during the lockdown when everything was canceled and people stayed at home to exercise. I love solid, optical glass pieces, which are often super heavy. That's how these glass sculptures turned out to resemble gym equipment. The sculptural candleholders are called 'Puntti' and 'Pala'. The word ‘Puntti’ could be loosely translated as a gym or dumbbell in Finnish. The meaning of ‘Pala’ in Finnish is piece or biceps.

Handblown in Nuutajärvi Glassvillage, Finland.

Never burn the crown candle to the end, it may break the object.

Do not leave candles unattended.
