Winter Garden

Winter Garden is an oasis during the coldest period of the year. For me it is both the place and a mind scape, offering a break and breath of summer while the nature is hibernating. 

It is like a trip through the Stargate into the middle of the exotic plants and flowers while only the frost is blooming outside. In my artworks the dreamy scenes are mixing with fairy tails, childhood plays and imaginative forms. 

The Garden, often repeating in my art, is representing to me unruliness, playful growth and freedom of spirit. 

The glass sculptures are made in the famous Nuutajärvi  Glass Village in collaborations with talented Glass Blowers.
